Understand Common Developmental Conditions and Learn Effective Learning Strategies – Upgrade

This course is designed to equip mental health professionals, educators, parents and caregivers with a foundational understanding of developmental conditions such as Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and their impact on children’s learning and behaviour. Participants will explore the distinctive traits and strengths associated with each condition, as well as the common challenges children may face in educational settings. Participants will also be equipped with effective learning strategies to help with the diverse needs of these children.

By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to implement effective, inclusive teaching practices that foster positive learning experiences and support the developmental progress of all children. Behavioural and social strategies are not covered in this course.
