About Course

Supporting individuals who navigate personality-disordered behaviours and symptoms is deeply meaningful, yet complex and challenging.

This supportive training is designed to guide you through the diagnostic criteria of the DSM-5 with compassion and clarity. It will explore practical diagnosing strategies, evidence-based treatment plans, and the vital interpersonal skills needed to manage these symptoms throughout the therapeutic journey. It will also discuss countertransference and help you understand and navigate your own internal experiences when working with various personality types. You will:

Gain a deeper understanding of all 10 DSM-5 Personality Disorders across Clusters A, B, and C.
⁠Examine how personality disorders uniquely influence the therapeutic relationship and impact client engagement.
⁠⁠Analyze and implement collaborative treatment strategies to enrich your treatment planning process.
⁠⁠Deconstruct the nuances between true Personality Disorders and general personality styles, and learn to differentiate them from Mood Disorders and other diagnoses.
